“Dancing Mantis Productions” was created by Catalina Multa, it's Chief Executive Officer, who was born and raised in New Jersey. The Praying Mantis was rumored to be a rare commodity and an endangered species. Therefore, the natives of New Jersey treated the Praying Mantis’ just like royalty.

As for the dancing aspect of the name, the production company wanted its Mantis to represent one of Hollywood’s most influential icons, Charlie Chaplin. Charlie was a innovator/creator that was always one step ahead when it came to any and all performances on screen or on stage. With one screenplay, he would invent a style, a dance, a song, a stunt..a masterpiece. Chaplin’s creativity is still being utilized today! We are surrounded by his legacy that still reigns in the entertainment world. He was a rare oddity.

Dancing Mantis Productions is a unique combination of a rare commodity (Praying Mantis) intertwined  with a rare oddity (Charlie Chaplin). Because, Dancing Mantis is a creative entity, it will always stay unique, in hopes to be known as a household name that continues to produce one-of-a-kind, inspirational and influential projects that will help each and every one of us reach our goals and to make all of our dreams come true!
